Welcome to Outreach Service Hub of Oklahoma (OSHO), a 501c3 nonprofit agency dedicated to serving Oklahomans in need of various services, such as medical equipment, home health, hospice, and other caregiver services. Our goal is reduce the potential of harm by partnering with agencies that serve Oklahoma's aging population. We also accept gently used 2nd-hand medical equipment & incontinence supplies and redistribute them to people in need. Our Outreach program allows us to send out a Medical Social Work to help bridge the gap in services.

Reuse

OSHO collects Durable Medical Equipment (DME) when someone no longer needs it. DME was created to withstand repeated use for medical reasons and expected to last over 3 years. OSHO wants to reuse the DME that is no longer needed for one person and give it out to another person who does, in hopes of improving their quality of life.

Remember

In 2023, there were 45,506 deaths in Oklahoma according to the CDC. Many of these deaths were people who died on hospice and left behind viable DME. Their families have graciously donated the DME & other nonused medical supplies to us.

It is important for

OSHO to give these donations away in their loved one's honor.

Redistribute

OSHO redistributes donated DME to Oklahomans because, Oklahoma is 17% higher then the national average when it comes to adults 60+ living with disabilities. (The Current State of Aging in Oklahoma 2023 Report)

OSHO uses health related outreach to improve Oklahomans quality of life despite their physical decline & disabilities..

Repurpose

As part of our 5 year plan, we will partner with universities and the agricultural sector for innovation. Some equipment & supplies can't be used for it's intended purpose but that doesn't mean it cant be used for something else. You might say that one man's trash is another mans treasure. We want to bring new purpose and new "life" by creating something that will still bring wellness & quality to Oklahomans.

Recycle

We understand that not all equipment or supplies can be redistributed or repurposed. In those situations, we want to scrap and recycle. This allows for the reduction of landfill waste, greenhouse gas emissions, and pollution.
